Omg french toast snooze8/4/2023 ![]() At this newly opened breakfast chain in Orange County, they’ve flipped the script to create an experience that is better than all the rest! From the food, to the ambiance, and back to the food (because yes, it really just is that good).Ī post shared by Socalfunfamily chefs start with the best (responsibly sourced) ingredients and truly create magic from there. Most breakfast and brunch restaurants start with the same script: eggs, batter, coffee, and a griddle. Snooze is located in The Center at Rancho Niguel of Laguna Niguel, CA at the corner of Greenfield Drive and Rancho Niguel Rd. *28141 Crown Valley Parkway, Laguna Nigel 92677 Brunch at Snooze: 28141 Crown Valley Parkway, Laguna Nigel 92677 ![]() And this place is one you definitely don’t want to snooze on. This week we tried a new restaurant, Snooze an AM Eatery, in Laguna Nigel (Orange County). In fact, I consider brunch more of a mindset than meal and I love all things brunch. You can read my previous post on Snooze here.We may earn money or products from the companies mentioned in this post. I think the overall brunch menu is a little better at The Mission, but I really love the pancakes here and FH really loves the eggs benedict. ![]() I wish they took reservations and I’d be here more often. Overall, we were pretty happy with the food. I wasn’t as much of a fan of the cranberry. I enjoyed the blueberry topped with streusel too. The red velvet still remains my favorite. The pancakes on the flight are still big and fluffy and definitely meant for sharing. It’s definitely a better deal to get the pancake flight rather than individual flavors. Pancake Flight: Red velvet, blueberry crumble, pancake of the day (something with cranberry filling) The Mission is still my favorite for French toast. OMG! French Toast (Fresh brioche stuffed with mascarpone, then griddled and topped with vanilla crème, salted caramel, agave soaked strawberries and toasted coconut.)Ī little too sweet for me. This burrito was full of all sorts of breakfast goodness and was big and filling. Snooze Breakfast Burrito (Filled with scrambled eggs, hash browns, house black beans, cheddar & jack cheese, topped with salsa fresca and your choice of green chili or ranchero) Still tasted good with the scrambled egg. We didn’t get the sunny side up egg because we wanted the baby mama to enjoy the sandwich too. Havana Daydreaming (Free-range house pulled pork, sliced ham, jack cheese, homemade pickles and a sunny side egg (or your call) with Dijon hollandaise served open face on a hoagie roll) I don’t remember if I liked it before, but I like this new version. Looking back at old pictures, it looks like the hash recipe has changed. Basically as crispy as you can get without deep frying it. I also really liked the potato hash which was very crispy. The Bella! Bella! was pretty to look at but I wasn’t as fond of the taste or that it sat on the ciabatta bread. Snooze lets you mix and match, so we chose the Bella! Bella! Benny (Thin slices of prosciutto, Taleggio cheese, and poached eggs on toasted ciabatta, topped with cream cheese hollandaise, balsamic glaze and arugula) and Chilaquiles Benedict (Carne asada steak served on a cheesy, saucy, tortilla stack topped with poached Niman Ranch eggs, smoked cheddar hollandaise, fresh salsa and cotija cheese.) We decided to order several things from the menu and share.Įggs Bennies. By the time we sat down, we were starving. I don’t usually like to wait, but we have friends visiting who were on their “babymoon” and both FH and I really wanted to take them to Snooze. Since my post on the grand opening, this place has become ridiculously popular, with the wait somewhere between 30 minutes to an hour on weekends. Snooze remains one of our favorite brunch spots, mainly because of the pancake flight and the eggs benedict.
